Jesse Quinones

Jesse directed for season 8 of BBC's INSIDE NO 9 and also took up the lead director role on BBC One’s return to WATERLOO ROAD (2022), seasons one and two. He is developing HEIST OF BENIN, a feature spec, which is set up with Endurance Media with David Oyelowo attached to star. Jesse is also adapting a trilogy of novels for iGeneration. A dual national (US & UK) Writer/Director, Jesse’s debut feature film CALLOUSED HANDS starred Andre Royo (HBO's The Wire), Daisy Haggard (BBC One's Back to Life), and Hans Howes (There Will be Blood). It premiered at the Miami International Film Festival and screened at over 20 festivals around the world, garnering numerous awards. Jesse's second feature film, CAGEFIGHTER starred Gina Gershon and Chuck Liddell, and was released in US theatres. Jesse is a recent addition to the STARZ COLLECTIVE, a US initiative run by Starlight Entertainment to support BIPOC filmmakers. In his downtime he enjoys spending time with his family and training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which he holds a Black Belt in. Jesse is represented by Gersh Agency in the US and Revolution Talent in the UK.
