Caroline O’Donoghue

Caroline O’Donoghue is an Irish author, journalist and host of award-winning podcast SENTIMENTAL GARBAGE. Her latest adult novel THE RACHEL INCIDENT came out late 2022 and Caroline is adapting it for Universal / Page Boy in LA. She is currently writing an original drama series for Lookout Point and Monumental TV and adapting an existing TV series with Moonage. ALL OUR HIDDEN GIFTS, first in a trilogy for young adults was published by Walker in 2021 and became a Bestseller. On publication of her first novel, Promising Young Women, she was shortlisted for the Irish Book Awards’ Newcomer of the Year and the Kate O’Brien Award. Her next adult novel, Scenes of a Graphic Nature, was published by Virago and is in development as a feature. She has contributed to Grazia, The Times and has a regular column for The Irish Examiner. Caroline was born in Cork but currently lives in London. She is developing original screen projects for both film and tv.
